Young Rebel Star Prabhas’ new film under the direction of dialogue writer Koratala Siva was launched on October 17 in Hyderabad.
V.V. Vinayak gave the clap, while M.M. Keeravani switched on the camera. The muhurtham shot was directed by Dil Raju. S.S. Rajamouli, Venu Sriram, Vakkantham Vamsi, Ravinder, Bunny Vaas, Gemini Kiran and others graced the event. This is Koratala Siva's debut film as a director.
The regular shooting will commence in November. The film is jointly produced by Pramod Uppalapati and Vamsi Krishna Reddy under the banner of UV Creations. Richa is the heroine. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director.

Richa Gangopadhyay has gotten lucky, yet again. Though she failed to enthuse the audience in Mirapakay, luck is knocking on her doors. This time, she will be paired with Prabhas. The last time around when she got it lucky, it was Ravi Teja.

Young Rebel Star Prabhas and choreographer-actor-director Raghava Lawrence’s forthcoming mass action entertainer ‘Rebel’ will be going to Bangkok soon. This is for the second that the film unit will be going to Bangkok. Earlier, few important scenes were shot in Bangkok and Malaysia. Presently, shooting is going on in and around Hyderabad.
Rebel star Krishnam Raju is playing Prabhas’ father in the film. Tamanna Bhatia and Deeksha Seth are heroines. Bhagavan and J Pulla Rao are producing the film under Sri Balaji Cine Media banner.
Film’s other cast includes Brahmanandam, Mukesh Rishi, Kelly Dorge, Sayaji Shinde, M S Narayana, Ali, Chalapathi Rao, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Supreeth and Jeeva.
The film will feaute music by S Thaman, dialogues by Swamy (Darling fame), fights by Ram-Lakshman, art by S Prakash, photography by C Ram Prasad and editing by Marthand K Venkatesh.
With Anushka opted out of the 'Rebel' project directed by Raghava Larencce and produced by J Bhagawan and J Pulla Rao on the banner of Sri Balaji Cine Media with Prabhas as hero, the director immediately contacted Tamanna and made her to sign the dotted line for the movie.The third schedule of Rebel is slated to begin in Hyderabad from September 15.
Giving details about the progress of the film, producers say, 'We are planning our third schedule from September 15 in Hyderabad. The schedule would continue without any break and the unit would complete the shooting in Hyderabad and leave for Bangkok and would wrap up the shooting with Vizag schedule. Prabhas and Tamanna are pairing up for the first time, while Deeksha Seth is playing another heroine. We are very happy for doing a hit film with a hero like Prabhas. We will never forget the cooperation extended by Prabhas in the film production. Moreover, Larencce too is not compromising on any occasion and is committed to bring out a super hit film. We are thrilled for bringing out such a high budget film and it would be the careers highest budget film for Prabhas too.'
Prabhas says, 'My look would be different in this film after 'Mr Perfect'. The film would be quite stylish to suit the title 'Rebel'. Larence is bringing out the film in an extraordinary manner. The film has all kinds of elements the audiences would expect from my film.'
Director says, 'The story of the film would suit at its best to Prabhas' personality and image. Such kind of film should be done by Prabhas and none others. The producers are cooperating in every matter and we are sure that the film would be a definite hit.'
Now the latest buzz is that before that film, he is going to direct a new film with producer Bellamkonda Suresh again and script works for that project is under process. Another buzz is that Young Rebel star Prabhas is going to play the lead role in this project. Prabhas is presently busy with the shooting of his under shoot film “Rebel”. However, Allu Arjun is presently taking rest after surgery to his shoulders in Australia. Once he is back, his new project with Trivikram Srinivas will goes on to sets, probably it will be on September 24th. So Allu Arjun’s project with Santosh Srinivas gets delayed.
If everything goes well soon Prabhas and Santosh Srinivas’s new film will goes on to sets. More details of the film are yet to be known!!
Prabhas has strong following in girls after movies darling and Mr. Perefect. Top heroines are dying to act besides Prabhas. Now Tamannah is lucky to get chance for Rebel besides Prabhas when anushka got dropped from project. Tamanna is acting with Jr. NTR, Ramcharan, Ram and Prabhas but out of all, she feels Prabhas as lovely and tempting. So, a new darling for Prabhas is Tamanna.
Looks like, post Mr. Perfect, Prabhas is in full form. Rebel, a mass-oriented film, is a god-send for the star, who hasn't had a roaring hit that the masses adored for a long time. Thus, he is taking the Raghava Lawrence-directed film with special interest.
The producers of the movie are happy that Prabhas is deeply engaged in the making and constantly coming up with suggestions. Having completed two schedules already, the film's third schedule began on the 15th.
Tamanna, it is well-known, has replaced Anushka following some tiffs with Lawrence.
Thankfully for Prabhas, Lawrence is in good form too, following the success of Kanchana in Tamil as well as Telugu. Making a film like Rebel is the choreographer-turned-director's cup of tea. In the past, he impressed the mass audience through Nagarjuna's Mass and later, to an extent, Style.
This time around, he is lucky to have someone like Prabhas on board. The both are working in full symphony to make sure that Rebel becomes a monster hit.

The film is a mass entertainer and is directed by Choreographer turned Actor Lawrence and jointly prodcued by J Bagawan and J Pulla Roa under Sri Balaji Cine Media banner while the music is composed by Thaman. Well, like it is the first time for Prabhas this is the first time even for the audience to see this pair on screen. So lets see how to which extent will their chemistry sizzle the screen ???
Prabhas, the “rebel star” of Tollywood, knows whose hand he should hold in order to deliver a super hit. And it is none other than Kajal Aggarwal! She has been offered a third consecutive lead role opposite Prabhas in a new movie to be directed by ace director SS Rajamouli.
The duo’s premier outing was the super successful Darling (2010), which was followed by the super hit Mr Perfect. Produced by K Raghavendra Rao, the yet-to-be-titled SS Rajamouli movie is slated to hit the floors in November. Prabhas is currently shooting for director Lawrence Raghavendra’s action thriller Rebel, in which he has Anushka Shetty and Deeksha Seth as his love interests.

Vasuki Sunkavalli, the Telugu girl who is in news for winning Miss India title, is now attracting Tollywood folks too. Industry people are looking to cast in Vasuki as the female lead. Rumor has it that Prabhas is showing keen interest to cast her in his upcoming film.
Prabhas’s next film is under Rajamouli direction. If everything goes well for Vasuki she will be making her acting debut with this film. Vasuki is tall, dusky beauty who could give any actress run for her money.
Vasuki should also answer the critics that no Telugu born girl is able to make it to the top in Tollywood. However, we have to know whether the girl herself is interested in filmy career or not?
Veteran actor Krishnam Raju who is also the brother of Prabhas' father, is playing the role of father in 'Rebel'. Prabhas is the hero in 'Rebel'.
Krishnamraju had earlier acted with Prabhas in 'Billa'. Larencce Ragava is directing this flick.
Meanwhile, Krishnamraju held a press conference on Tuesday and praised Larencce's film 'Kanchana'. While appreciating the directorial and acting skills of Larencce, Krishnamraju said that Kanchana had one of the best screenplays he has ever seen.
"There is a lot of message in Kanchana. Besides, Larencce did a great job as an actor. This movie is a complete family entertainer and a must watch. The editing work also is awesome" Krishnam Raju said.
